My Favourite Photos…

Throughout the last few months I have continued to take photos during rehearsals so that they can be shared with our online audience.

All of these images can be found in the gallery tab of this blog but I decided to share a few of my favourite photos of the company here.

Smile… You’re On Camera.

I decided to take some new pictures of the cast for the programme rather than using the ones we already had on the blog. The photos on the blog are look very casual and fit with the manifesto for the company where we state that…

‘Our ten company members channel their energy, excitement and enthusiasm in the devising process, to create focused and significant theatre’ (Fill In The Blank, 2015).

This led to me creating images for the blog which reflected this.

Rehearsal Photos #2

Aswell as being the marketing manager for Fill In The Blank, I am also a performer which means I sometimes have to hand over the camera in rehearsals to one of the non-performing members of our company. I then edit these images and upload them to our social media so we can share our progress with our online following.

Finding Our Target Audience…

Whilst completing our marketing strategy, it became apparent that our main target audience was the students based at the School of Fine and Performing Arts. The table below shows that the work that Fill In The Blank are planning on creating will appeal to multiple audiences but mainly the students at of LSFPA.

Audience Table Two

The key features of this target audience are…

18-25 years old.

Students.

Interested in the arts.

Limited budget.

Strong online presence.

Based in Lincoln City Centre.

Part of the University of Lincoln.

Visit the UoL campus regularly.

These are all characteristic that we can use to our advantage to aid us when looking at how we will reach this audience.

Other audiences that it would be worth us investing time whilst marketing in are friends and family, local groups and societies and 13+ years of age. If we focus on the students and also reach out to these other audiences, then we will hopefully succeed in generating an audience for our show.
